This past weekend, our good friends Martha and Jim drove down from Iowa to meet Ella and hang out with everyone. On Saturday morning, we packed up all 4 kids and headed to the Louisburg Cider Mill. It definitely reminded me of why I love fall so much ... beautiful, crisp weather, pumpkin patches, hay rides, and fresh apple cider. We had a great time!

Now that the first day of autumn is almost here, I am really looking forward to the leaves changing over. There is a huge tree in our backyard that turns the prettiest shade of red in the fall and you get a picture-perfect view of it from our bedroom windows. Ella will love looking at it!
