Spring has Sprung at the Farmstead

One of my new favorite things about spring? The Deanna Rose Farmstead is open! Had to pop over there this past weekend to take advantage of the sunshine. I was so excited to see Ella's reaction to all of the animals. Last year, she wasn't walking, so she spent most of our trips in her stroller, looking at all of the animals from a safe distance. This year, she could get up close and personal. She would point at the baby goats and get excited about them, walking up to them. As soon as they got near her, though, she would freak out! After a while, she got used to these aggressive little milk drinkers, and even helped us feed them.
