Greatest Lesson Learned:
Patience and hard work pay off. We finally got the hail storm that funded our new roof, gutters, and a fresh coat of paint on the house. Eli also worked long and hard to build us the most beautiful stone patio in our backyard (click here to see it).
Hardest Thing of the Year (and another lesson learned):
We almost lost our sweet dog, Marley, to a severe infection (twice) ... not something our hearts (or our wallets) ever want to go through again.
Favorite Memory:
All of our amazing vacations - another fabulous ski trip, journies across the country to celebrate the marriage of good friends and family, weekend getaways to the lake with our family of three and with Eli's brother, and a incredible trip to California to celebrate 5 years of marriage

Watching our baby girl grow, change, and learn
What we look forward to in 2012:
The moments of awe when we watch Ellasyn do something for the first time. The sweet little memories we create together everyday. The laughter and joy in spending time with family and friends. Relaxing vacations and new adventures together. Making the most of all that we are blessed with.
