Fun Weekend at the Lake

Over Memorial day weekend, we traveled to the Lake of the Ozarks with Eli's sister and her husband and a group of their friends. It was such an awesome weekend. First off, the lakehouse we rented was one of the nicest ones that we have stayed at in a long time. It had a beautiful huge deck that overlooked the lake and had tons of comfy furniture on it ... we spent a lot of time grilling out and relaxing on that deck. During one afternoon, we rented a boat and drove around for a while, even making a brief appearance at party cove - a pretty ackward place for a preggo to be! Go figure that it was the one and only day that it rained during our trip. Regardless, we had a blast and it was just so fun to be out on the water. When we got home, Eli and his guitar entertained us with some tasty jams. The whole weekend was so fun and relaxing, and a great way to celebrate 3 years of being married to my best friend and the most amazing husband ever.

This was Marley almost the entire trip home in the car. Looks like he was as worn out from the weekend as we were!
